Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Renewed mind is supernaturally powerful/effective. Repent means change the way you think about reality. Change your perspective of reality. Not a self-willed change, comes about because of a tender heart. A tender heart gives way to the transforming of the mind (breaking). Transformed mind is evidence of a tender heart; able to demonstrate and illustrate the will of God. Re - pent (re - go back) (pent - top) go back to God's perspective of reality. Powered by Holy Spirit. When mind is yielded it receives the impressions of the Spirit. Pure heart - hear clearer. The will of God (Mt. 6 Lord's Prayer) Thy kingdom come (Kings domain - realm of His rule). Anything going on in heaven should be going on here. And what is not going on there, should not be going on here. When there is conflict, we are the bridge, or connection point, thru our prayers and radical obedience, to bring a manifestation of that dominion into this problem/situation. God's intent is not to just get a few people born again and onboard into heaven. We have a commission; I've been given a responsibility to demonstrate the will of God (on earth as it is heaven). Put on display the will of God - thru the renewed mind.
Paul (Acts 17) in Athens; Mars Hill - philosophers talked, talked, talked. Intellectual garbage. Only a few get saved after Paul's brilliant speech (Gospel).  Blue Monday - re-evaluate what you did on Sunday (depression; Bill leaves alone now) Acts 18:1 Paul is evaluating his message (brilliant message, few converts). I Cor. 2 did not come with excellence of speech, with you in weakness; no human wisdom, but in faith and power of God.
1st heaven; where man lives
2nd heaven: angels and demons
3rd heaven: where God is
Not saying I have a hard time talking; Paul said I decided not to tell you all I knew this time I left room for the power of God; not to put faith in another man's gift. He's soul searching. Why didn't I have a lot of converts in Athens? In this next city I'm going (run an experiment) to dial down what I know and say, and leave room for the power of God (not in wisdom of man). Faith in the power of God. Today there is a difference between preaching in Jesus name, and preaching in power. If there is not something to back what they say (false teachers) you don't want to follow their message.  I wanted your faith in the power of God, and not the wisdom of man. In every religion and cult, they have some form of self-denial as a part of their practice (fasting, giving, beating themselves, pilgrimmages to deny themselves, crawling, paying penitence).  What separates us from every other group (our cross) is the resurrection. If you're living in self-denial with no release of power - religious source of self-denial. The cross was to lead us to ressurrection! Cross was never to be the end (Jesus, for the joy set before, He endured - passed thru). The life was on the other side. We carry the cross daily to yield to His will, so that the POWER OF GOD CAN BE DEMONSTRATED.
I Cor. 2:6 rulers of this age are coming to nothing ... vs. 7 hidden mystery (His wisdom is for our glory) - if satan had known they never would have crucified the Lord
Mysteries of God - God's good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. Mystery cannot be discovered, must be revealed/unlocked. Tenderness of heart/yieldedness that allows us to come into that realm of revelation that unlocks the mysteries of God.
God concealed mysteries in parables; hid truths in principles/riddles. Spirit of self-pity doesn't not attract moves of God. Faith does. Mystery should result from encounters with God, if not, inferior relation. He is shock and awe.
Jesus hid truth in parables; He hides truth not from you, but for you. God hides revelation knowledge so not every power can tap into it. Off limits. We have private, personal access to a Spirit of Revelation that opens up to you the mysteries - why: because we are the salt of the earth, to cause others to hunger to come into a place, to see, hear, to be moved personally in the same Spirit of revelation that has transformed your life. We are dependent on the Spirit of God. Faith operates in the realm of revelation knowledge. Where there is a lack of revelation knowledge faith is restricted and confined by misconception.
Example of misconception: Only the Benny Hinns of the world can pray for healing (faith will operate in the confines of my ignorance) Jesus says Mt. 10: heal the sick, etc. when that becomes alive to me, I have personal responsibility; revelation has shown me the boundries for my own faith to operate in. In the absence of revelation knowledge we live in our own misconceptions. We get to live in this great adventure of walking with God (wants faith to be released). This mystery was not just for anybody - Jesus had to die.
Ephesians manifold wisdom of God being proclaimed by the church's lifestyle as a an example to principalities and powers. Everytime they see us love somebody, the powers of hell cringe - that's the wisdom of God, we can't stop them. They know they messed up.  Every act slams them. Salvation Army bell ringer. You're proclaiming, demonstrating the wisdom of God.
I Cor. 2:9 eye has not seen, nor ear heard ... the things that God has prepared for those who love Him (read at funerals). Church has not believed it's for NOW (put it in Millennium, or heaven, etc.). vs 10 but God has revealed them to us. The Spirit shows us all things ... Was never a part of our prayer life. God wants to work outside of our boundries. God wants to function outside our ability to imagine. Spirit searches the heart of the Father. Psalms. God's thoughts about us (Jer. 29) out number the sands on the seashore. He's been thinking about us since forever.  Knew (experience) us before we were born. I've been thinking about you for a long time. Not a few random good thoughts - no excuse for a bad day. He's not mad at you, regardless of your history. People need to hear - God is not mad at them. Millions of years ago, God was thinking of ways to bless you. Prophecy is so effective because every person has the conviction that they were born with a destiny (even if they were cursing you a minute ago). Prophets call out other people's destiny - they've encouraged (not the language of Egypt - moaning and complaining). The Holy Spirit has been speaking your destiny to you, one on one, all of your life. vs 10 God has revealed them to us by the Spirit of God. That we might KNOW the things freely given to us by God. HS searching the mind of the Father, wants to reveal them to us today (today's date). Things that have never entered our mind before.  vs 14 but the natural man does not receive; they are spiritually discerned - only in the spirit. Not in the natural ... (example are the invisible signals going thru the room; but not received unless we have a radio, cell phone, or TV - we need a RECEIVER). You can name it and claim it, but if you're not listening to His message, you'll get nothing (like tuning all the way thru the AM dial, when God is on FM).
When God is talking to you, it will scare you. Can't conjure it up. God thoughts are better than the ones you can think up yourself. You wouldn't do them without Him (I'll fail if I don't have Him to do it for me).
God has a lot on His mind. He's been thinking it up for a long time. He's been waiting to talk to you about them. Tap into the realm of eternity, the supernatural.  Wigglesworth: Small man in stature, giant of a spirit. Natural man cannot receive. My spirit man has no limit to it's growth.  Turn to the Presence of God. He trains us in the kingdom realm. He has the power to transform us. What are God's expectations?  He thought this all up. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead will be in YOU.  Spirit of resurrection. I got ideas. I (God) have some things I want to say.
Problems grow huge thru the UN-renewed mind (thought life and emotions). Enemy is empowered by our agreement. So is the Lord - He waits for us to pray. He invades and transforms.  Secret to always being encouraged:  I live in denial. Enemy puts a request on my desk - request is denied. Blood continues to wash me clean (24/7). Enemy lies; give him attention, I give him power. He will cause me to miss the next great thing God is trying to tell me and do in and thru me.
Great prayer: HELP
It's the little encounters each day with our neighbors. It's living on the edge of anticipation; God can do anything at anytime and I'm ready.  Ya, there are challenges, but they'll pass. They'll all bow to the name of Jesus. He's the Lord of ALL.  Be a part of breakthrough. Let our God encounters increase. Grant us the Spirit of Revelation (tender heart attracts the Spirit - I'm willing, surrendered).

Enemy is empowered by our agreement. So is the Lord - He waits for us to pray.
