| I remember hearing about Pastor Buck
in 1979-80, but never knew the full depth of his story.
Then I heard the story again from Paul-Keith Davis
in 2004. I finally read his story "on-line" and
what a blessing it has been. I am so thankful that
this message of the "power of Jesus' Grace/Atonement" and
about the "families" were given to this man.
I am in the midst of my own "Grace Awakening," and
have found Pastor Buck's story very timely, and powerfully
encouraging to me. I am sorry that some of the people
who don't agree are so hateful in their expression
of disagreement, may their eyes be opened to God's
Love. Thank-you again.

Awesome,
thank you so much for putting the books up on your
site; this message was so vital, some years ago,
I bought a box of the books and recommended that
all my students at Hampstead Bible School of Faith
read it. Pastor Buck continues to speak even though
not from earth; just about anyone else would have
wanted to make a "buck"
from the book (God has a sense of humor, to entrust
this revelation with a man named "Buck") --
his heart was only "That the world might know"
-- before it's too late. I believe the book is more
relevant now than when first released, and I've not
read the sequel yet, since I did not know it even existed
until checking your web site!
I've
read AoA several times through the years. I find that
whenever reading the book, after a few days, I'll be
aware of the presence of angels guarding, protecting
and leading me to the voice of the Father.
For
those who claimed the book was not scriptural, let
me say this: Angels on Assignment always draws me
into closer intimacy with Jesus and the revelation
of the written Word of God. It is not about flaky
revelations and "extra" stuff in addition
to the Gospel that born-again Christians of all
denominations know and love. It is all about drawing
us BACK to the heart of the Father, shunning worldly
lusts, and guiding us into line with God's heartbeat
for a lost and dying world, through the redemption
of Jesus Christ: His ultimate, one time sacrifice
for sin through His death on the Cross; his subsequent
bodily resurrection, ascension into Heaven.
It
did influence my theology, however. Maybe it re-enforced
the awesome love that God has for ALL people. I desire
still more of that self-sacrificial love in my own life
today! Also, I quit ordering angels around after reading
the book. You've probably never done that, but some
folks made a doctrine out of that some years back -
read the book for an explanation!
Bless
you all for reading this! (comments Re: AoA is up
on my blog -- chaplainscall.blogspot.com/2005/08/newly-wed-reality-check.html

Someone
gave me the Angels On Assignment book last week, and
I am blown away. It drives me back to the Father and
to His Word with each chapter I read. Thank you for
putting this online, since I was thinking how I could
get it into the hands of my many friends.

I
have been looking for this book for years now.
I first heard about it when I was about
16 years old and for some reason it stuck at the
back of my mind. I knew I was supposed to read it.
It took
10 years to come around. Last week I started looking
for
it. I knew the book existed but I thought the title
was "Angels on guard." Inspite of my most
avid search I could not find it of course. Then one
day, after conducting a Bible study, one of my brothers
commented
and said there was a book on the web called "Angels
on Assignment." Immediately a bulb came on
within me. I have read both books and what a blessing
they are. The Love of God for mankind is definitely
the
message we should be sharing with the World.
One
more thing I would like to say is ... For me, this
message
hits a chord deep within. When I was 16, newly
saved, I really wanted to serve the Lord. So I left
home to go pray so that I could prepare for ministry.
After
7 days of prayer the Lord spoke to me and told me, "George
what I want is a relationship with you, not your service." Even
though I still believe I am called by him to serve
Him, I now enjoy it coz I do it out of Love rather
than obligation or duty. So the message of Pastor Buck
really is a powerful confirmation for me.

Bless,
George (Dec 2004)

Dear
Friend!
I
was absolutely delighted to find by web search today
that you have not only put Angels on Assignment, but
also the wonderful, The Man Who Talked with Angels,
online for all to read, enjoy and be blessed! Since
the second book by Pastor Buck's daughter, Sharon, includes
angelic visitations taken from his diary that are not
included in Angels on Assignment, it is so very important
to have this record as well. As I'm sure you know, there
has been controversy about these encounters from day
one, and I'm sure will be, but I must tell you that
these books alone, and also the tapes from the Church,
have many times since helped to renew my faith, my love
of the Bible, and offered a fresh glimpse into the absolutely
overwhelming LOVE OF GOD! Thanks a million times for
this labor of love! God richly bless you in the opportunity
and blessing that you are offering to others through
this web site!
...
just wanted to say 'thanks' again for taking the
time
and effort to transcribe and publish
to the web the
two inspiring and remarkable books about the life and
angel encounters of Pastor Roland Buck. As there have
been times in the past when one or both of these beautiful
books have not been in print, it is such a treasure
to have them 'safe' on the web! Periodically, I have
done web searches for "Angels on Assignment" or "Roland
Buck" and what I find almost always is either
web sites directing me to you, or a sordid assortment
of critiques, many from 'christian' web sites, as well
as those who would ridicule anything as 'preposterous'
as the story that angels from God have actually visited
human beings in our day. The real value of your web
site in contrast to all others is that you have simply
provided
the 'evidence', the two books that encapsulate not
only the extraordinary divine visitations but the humble
life of someone who truly walked close to God. I continue
to be inspired not only by these extraordinary accounts
but also by the story of a man who was both 'salt'
and 'light' to his family, his church, his community
and ultimately anyone who has bothered to examine his
life story! My life is richer, my walk with Jesus closer,
because of this man's witness to the awesome, faithful
love, grace and mercy of God!

I
want to say a very big THANK YOU for making "The
Man Who Talked with Angels" on the Internet as
I have tried to purchase the book but it is out of print.
I live in Australia and things are always harder to
find over here. If only we all had a fraction of the
love and compassion that Pastor Buck had for God and
people. He truly is inspiring. "Angels on Assignment"
has been a real blessing to our family. It is amazing
and comforting to know that God loves us so much that
he sends his angels to us. I just want to say thank
you once again. God bless

I
read ANGELS ON ASSIGNMENT a very long time ago when
a kid 9 - 12yrs and started having some little experiences;
but the book is lost now. All effort to get the book
has been abortive (even in leading bookshops in Nigeria).
But I am overjoyed I found it on the Internet and
getting to know of its sequel. But please, how can
I get a copy for my library?
Note:
New and used English copies can easily be found at www.whitakerhouse.com, www.amazon.com, www.barnesandnoble.com, and
other online book dealers. Amazon.com has used books
at reduced prices. If in Boise, they have the books at
the church.
May
God bless you increasingly for your effort (I am
highly
encouraged). Keep adding to the Body of Christ and
God will add to you what money can buy and much more
what
money cannot buy. You are highly favored.

Dear
Webmaster,
I
am very happy to see this book on the internet. I first
read it quite a few years back and have reread it a
few times. I am the author of a book called "There
Is Eternal Life For Animals," which is based on
Bible scripture. In fact, I did reference Angels on
Assignment in the book. The main focus of my book is
Biblical proof that animals go to heaven.
I was wondering if Pastor Roland Buck ever wrote anything
on the subject of animals going to heaven. I wondered
if he believed that Queenie would join him in heaven.
I know they are there together now from my studies of
the Bible.

Dear
Webmaster,
First,
I want to thank you for the time and effort of putting
"Angels on Assignment" on the internet for
all to read. I am sure you are bestowing blessings to
all that read this wonderful book.
My granddaughter, Tessie, is attending preschool at
Central Assembly in Boise. I had asked my daughter if
she would stop by the library and see if we could still
buy a copy of "Angels on Assignment" so I
could send it to my friend Diana, in Canada. Diana had
just lost her kitten that she adored and I tried to
find the magic words to ease her broken heart. I sat
down to write and found myself telling Diana all about
Pastor Buck and my meeting with him. I told her I didn't
know why I was telling her all these things and not
sure how she would accept it so I would find a copy
of the book and send to her. Today, I decided to look
on the internet to see if the book would be available
and bless you ... there you were. I felt I should write
to you about my meeting with Pastor Buck. I know there
are skeptics ... perhaps I would have been one myself
had I not met this wonderful man and seen for myself
the compassion and love he radiated with his message
from God to me.
I lost my 13 year old son, Timmie, on October 18, 1976.
It was a hunting accident in which he was accidentally
shot by his younger brother. The effects of losing Timmie
were traumatic; we were a very heartbroken family. If
I would cry, my son would run away from home. He carried
so much guilt. I can't begin to tell you the heartache
of trying to put our family back together. There were
days when I knew one more tear would put me over the
edge where I would never come back.
One day, I was with my husband ... helping him with
a service call. We passed by Central Assembly and I
just knew I had to go in. It was not the church we attended
and I had never been there before. I asked my husband
if he would leave me there to speak to the Pastor. I
had no idea if the Pastor would even be there or have
the time to visit with me but I had a hunger that had
to be filled. I went inside and asked the lady at the
desk if I could speak to the Pastor. She opened a door
and here was a man that stood up from his desk and met
me with outstretched arms. He said, "Hello Linda".
"I have a special message from God for you. Your
little boy is as alive in the spirit as you are in the
flesh." The receptionist had not asked my name
and I hadn't had time to introduce myself to Pastor
Buck before he started speaking. Since we lost Timmie,
I had read the Bible from beginning to end over and
over wanting to know where my little boy was. I had
so many questions, many that there are no answers for
and have to be accepted by faith. I was so desperately
needing to know that Timmie wasn't really gone but alive
in Heaven with Jesus. What a marvelous message from
the Lord via Pastor Buck. I still get those "Holy
Spirit" goose bumps writing this to you.
That meeting did so much to heal our family. Years have
passed since we lost Timmie. There isn't a day that
goes by that we don't speak of him. When I share my
story with people, some believe, and some don't. But,
I feel it is my duty to tell of God's love for us and
a hurting family and people will have to accept it as
they choose. The miracles didn't stop the day I spoke
with Pastor Buck. God saw fit to send someone my way
day after day as our family went through our heartache
and healing. One day, I even had a lady stop, knock
at our door and tell me she didn't know why she was
there. She tearfully told me her story of how she had
been pronounced dead, came back, and told me all about
Heaven.
We were there the day Pastor Buck brought the news of
the angels visits to the Church. Queenie (his dog) was
in the room at Pastor Bucks side as he talked to me
that first day.
Thank you again for making "Angels on Assignment"
available.

Bless, Linda (Fall

Dear
Brother,
Greetings
in the wonderful name of Jesus from India!
I
am Pastor S. G. Israel Caleb from India pastoring a
growing church at Madurai City. I want to thank you
first of all for your brave endeavor for the kingdom
of God. I thank you profusely and personally for having
brought such a great revelation reachable to me. God
will reward you for this noble and need-of-the-hour
task. I have copied all the material in text files in
my computer.
As
I go down these pages, I am led by the spirit of the
Lord to bring this book in Indian languages. I wish
I want to be a part of bringing God's end time message
to this world. So I need your help. I want you to tell
me where and from whom can I get copyright to translate
and publish it in Indian languages.
Hope
you make this possible. I agree with your words, "It
is a timeless, priceless message!" Indeed!
Prayer-footing
towards 2003 and dreaming the dreams of God.
