In Closing ... Charles & Frances Hunter (Ch. 15, pages 193-197)

As we finished writing this book, we contacted Pastor Buck about some slight changes in the final copy, and he very reluctantly shared another part of a visitation which occurred during the early morning hours on Sunday, March 18, 1979.

Gabriel, Chrioni, and a ministering angel named Cyprion came to his home with the message from God that one of the desires of his heart is to teach his people the significance of praise and worship.

The angels said, "We want you to join in worship with us," and Pastor Buck was immediately given a language he had never spoken before. For thirty-five minutes, Gabriel, Chrioni, Cyprion, and Pastor Buck praised and worshipped God together. He said praise flowed through him like a "river language" which he couldn't start or stop himself!

As they were all worshipping and praising God together, Pastor Buck opened his eyes and saw something he could hardly comprehend.

Chrioni is the tallest of the angels who were there that early Sunday morning, but when he looked at him, both he and Chrioni were exactly the same height!

Then he looked at Gabriel! He was also the same height! Cyprion also measured equally with the rest of them!

How could this be? Pastor Buck looked down. Gabriel's feet were about four inches off the floor! Then he looked at Cyprion's feet, and they were about eighteen inches off the floor, then he looked at his own feet, and to his utter amazement, they were also about eighteen inches off the floor! For the first time he realized that his body had been suspended in air!

Gabriel gave him an extremely interesting bit of information at this time because he said that from the highest to the lowest of angels, to human beings, when we praise and worship God, we are all on the same level. He brought him news from God that worship is the best equalizer there is between heaven and earth, and he said what was happening was an illustration of this great truth.

Will any of this happen to us? According to the words of Gabriel, it will occur when Jesus returns for us, and according to the Bible, this is what will happen:

"And now, dear brothers, I want you to know what happens to a Christian when he dies so that when it happens, you will not be full of sorrow, as those are who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and then came back to life again, we can also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him all the Christians who have died. I can tell you this directly from the Lord; that we who are still living when the Lord returns will not rise to meet him ahead of those who are in their graves. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a mighty shout and with the soul-stirring cry of the archangel and the great trumpet-call of God. And the believers who are dead will be the first to rise to meet the Lord. Then we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and remain with him forever. So comfort and encourage each other with this news" (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 TLB).

With a boldness of faith we have never seen in anyone else, Pastor Buck has a total release of freedom in sharing what is happening in his own life, and in this book has simplified many great scriptural truths for us.

We feel like this is a countdown for the launching of Christians into the outer space of our eternal destination - HEAVEN FOREVER WITH GOD AND CHRIST JESUS!
